This was an odd book. Leaving aside the obvious strangeness inherent in anything to do with project management, I also get the feeling this book isn't quite sure what it wants to be.
On the one hand, it's a book about Sharepoint - but it's not going to actually go into too much technical detail about it. On the other hand, it's a book about project management - but it's not going to tell you too much about that either.
This book isn't enough to teach you about Sharepoint, and it isn't enough to teach you about project management. To be fair, it doesn't claim to be - it is very specifically about using Sharepoint as a project management tool. But by limiting itself to this, it seems to me to have fallen between two stools.
This isn't a bad book - it does indeed describe using Sharepoint as a project management tool. I'm just not sure there's much point to the book. It has focussed itself so narrowly that it seems to have made itself a curiousity, rather than crucial.
